Hi, I’m Sandra

Registered Nurse & Board-Certified Nurse Coach

I have spent years caring for people when they were sick. Now, I also want to help people build healthier lives before they reach that point.

Throughout my 15 years as a nurse, primarily in emergency and gastroenterology, I’ve cared for people dealing with everything from sudden medical emergencies to chronic conditions that completely changed the way they lived their lives. I’ve seen patients come into the hospital for one problem and leave facing several others—or, sometimes, a life-altering diagnosis.

Those experiences changed the way I think about health.

Taking care of our health isn’t only important after something goes wrong. The way we eat, move, sleep, manage stress, and care for ourselves day to day can have a huge impact on how we feel and how we live. Working in gastroenterology has also given me a particular interest in gut health and how closely it can be connected to nutrition, stress, daily habits, and overall well-being.

Most of us already know there are things we could be doing differently. The hard part is figuring out where to start—and then actually making those changes work in real life.

That’s where I come in.

Whether you’re struggling with chronic digestive issues, nutrition or weight concerns, movement and mobility, or simply feeling overwhelmed by habits that aren't working for you anymore, I’m here to help you find a realistic way forward.

My goal isn’t to hand you a list of things you “should” be doing. We’ll work together to figure out what matters to you, what’s getting in your way, and what changes actually make sense for your life. Through personalized goals, support, and accountability, I want to help you feel more in control of your health—and get back to doing the things you love.

Outside of nursing, I’m an avid Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai practitioner, a freelance photographer, and a very devoted cat mom. I love reading about psychology, traveling, learning languages, and spending an afternoon in a coffee shop with an iced vanilla latte and a good book.

Based in Los Angeles, I provide virtual nurse coaching to clients throughout California.

Nurse Coaching: A different kind of support.

Healthcare visits often focus on the problem in front of you. Nurse coaching gives us the time to look at the bigger picture—your health, habits, challenges, and what you want your life to look like.

My role is to listen, help you connect the dots, and work alongside you to create realistic changes that fit into your life—not someone else’s.
